Amid George Russell’s hugely impressive start to the 2025 Formula 1 season, with every passing week it’s becoming more unusual that Mercedes haven’t signed the Brit to a new contract.
The 27-year-old has scored three podiums in the opening four rounds and sits just 14 points behind world championship leader Lando Norris.
Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko also says he has “great concern” about Max Verstappen’s future at the team and described their performance at the Bahrain Grand Prix as “very alarming”.
